An art purchase a little like buying an expensive, but classic, piece of clothing. You wonder if you can justify the expense though you know the piece will serve you well for years and make you look a million dollars. Likewise, a piece of art will give you many years of joy and pleasure and knowing it is an original gives an additional thrill.
